Anne Burns founded Vets Chat Inc. in 2015 to better serve female veterans by creating The Vets Chat & Chew Program for them. Because it proved so successful, we now serve the entire military community including family members and caretakers. The program was born with the single goal of helping veterans learn in a unique and fun way the crucial role nutrition plays in the healing process.

Eating well not only keeps organs like the heart, lungs, and kidneys in tiptop shape and allows a healthy weight, but it also affects our state of mind. The scientific data is clear: healthy eating habits are good for the mind as well as the body.

Diabetes, heart and lung disease, obesity, depression, high anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, substance abuse, etc. challenge members in the military community every day. The Vets Chat & Chew Program is based on nutritional science and adapted just for them.
