Whole Foods Markets hosts Vets Chat and Chew Program
June 2016 – Six Whole Foods Markets in northeast Jersey (Paramus, Edgewater, Closter, Ridgewood, Montclair and West Orange) hosted The Vets Chat and Chew Program for veterans on June 28, 2017 for their 5% day. Whole Foods will donate 5% of the net sales for that day towards The Vets Chat and Chew Program. The program introduces nutritional foods to veterans that can help them feel better. They cook with a professional chef, have access to a nutritionist and eat the meal together. A big THANK YOU goes to our Vets Chat and Chew volunteers Denise, Steve, Peggy, Anne, Diane, Chuck, Verna, Liz and Anansa who were present in the six stores to introduce the program to the Whole Foods customers. Pictured here is Verna, an army veteran herself, at the Montclair store!
